Job Description
Under general supervision, responsible for processing provider applications and re-applications including the initial mailing, review and loading.
Processes credentialing and re-credentialing applications of health care providers.
Reviews applications, prepares verification letters and maintains database.
Contacts medical office staff, licensing agencies, and insurance carriers to complete credentialing and re-credentialing applications.
May assist in the implementation of procedures and activities related to the credentialing, re-credentialing and privileging of network providers.
Maintains provider profiling system.
Communicates with providers regarding credentialing status and information.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Ability to perform multiple tasks in a consistent manner
Good communication skills
Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office programs
Required Experience
High school diploma required and a minimum one year related experience.
