Payroll and HR Administrator Oxford Immunotec

Responsible for the accurate processing of bi-weekly and semi-monthly payrolls and associated taxes, multi-state reporting, in compliance with all applicable laws. Maintains accurate payroll records and HRIS. Supports Human Resources department including benefits administration, new hire orientation, affirmative action, FMLA, and reporting.
? Process bi-weekly and semi-monthly payrolls and audit for accuracy
? Manage the electronic timekeeping system including adherence to FLSA
? Maintain employee records in HRIS
? First point of contact for employees for payroll and time and attendance, providing accurate and timely responses to inquiries
? Maintain state tax files, and respond to requests
? Prepare standard and ad hoc reports,
? Assist with benefits administration, FMLA, new hire orientation, affirmative action plan development, and recruiting
? Adhere to federal reporting requirements include VETS 100A and EEO-1 Reports
? Perform E-verify, debarred parties search, and other required reporting
? Orient new hires, enroll in benefits, audit benefit program enrollment
? Regular attendance and timeliness is essential
? College degree or equivalent experience in payroll and HR in medium-size company
? 2+ years experience processing multi-state payroll, HRIS and reporting
? Expertise in processing ADP payroll preferred, HR generalist experience preferred
? Excellent MS Office skills, expert Internet skills
? In-depth knowledge of payroll practices and federal and state regulations.
? Strong communication skills, ability to articulate and communicate effectively
? Demonstrated problem solving/judgment skills, and high level of confidentiality and attention to detail
