PCB Layout Contractor, Altium 10 Designer Skybox Imaging

Skybox Imaging is looking for a motivated individual to help with the layout of our latest revision of PCB assemblies. Boards vary in complexity, and responsibilities could include updating existing designs with minor changes to doing a layout ?from scratch,? working with the design engineer. You must have experience with Altium Designer 10 environment, including shared library usage and management.The boards will include some analog design, but are primarily digital in nature. High-speed routing knowledge, controlled impedance traces, length matching, split power planes, stackup definition, differential pairs, etc. will be required. Designs include switching power supplies, microcontrollers and processors, DDR ICs, etc. ICs include BGAs, QFNs, SMT passives to 0402, SOICs.
A strong background in EE is desired. The more you can decide and implement designs with best practices for layout in a self-directed manner, the better. Candidate must be willing to work on-site in Mountain View.
This is a 3-6 month contract position. Competitive Hourly Rate.
Responsibilities:
? Work with designers to lay out PCBs using Altium Designer 10
? Take designs from schematic to ready for fabrication and assembly
? BOM generation and scrubbing
? Make recommendations for design improvement
Must be U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident.
