Role Profile
The Performance Analyst (PA) will be responsible for managing the day-to-day activities associated with delivering MedeAnalytics? hosted business analytics services. Working directly with a Client Success Manager on multiple accounts, the PA will provide support for the successful execution of all client services, including implementation, training, enhancements, and ongoing support. This position will report to the Regional Director of Client Success Management in Emeryville, CA, and will be a key role in a rapidly evolving a customer based services organization. The candidate must be a highly organized, energetic person who can think strategically, translate business objectives into project plans, and execute with precision.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Partner with Regional Director & Client Success Manager to support all aspects of the MedeAnalytics solution and services:
Manage technical aspects of the client update process to ensure application is properly updated & operational for client usage
Understand and monitor the quality and integrity of client?s source system data. Perform analysis and manage enhancements to improve the quality and performance of the data being extracted from source systems
Utilize technical knowledge and experience to build close relationships with client?s IT resources in order to facilitate the identification and implementation of performance and process improvements in the areas of FTP, ETL, data structure, and business rules creation
Perform client business analytics of solution data to assist the Regional Director and Client Success Manager in identifying opportunities for return on investment
Assist the Professional Services team as required during application enhancements, new product implementations, and/or application upgrades
Assist Client Success Manager as required with Product enhancement requests, development, testing, and/or final delivery to client
Monitor customer utilization and develop strategies to increase usage and adoption of the application within the account
Continually assess, document, and analyze client successes through outcomes-based measurement achieved with process redesign
Establish relationships with Hospital revenue cycle, clinical quality and compliance supervisors and analysts to foster continuous collaboration to meet the client?s business needs
Completes routine business application configuration changes as needed by effectively communicating with Software Engineers
Guide clients to utilize business intelligence through change management processes to execute financial, clinical and operational improvements
Requires the use of independent judgment, discretion and decision making abilities
Must possess negotiation, presentation, selling, customer service and interpersonal skills and the ability to influence and persuade clients
Essential Skills, Experience and Education:
A minimum of 2 years experience in business MIS, data analysis, or software project management and/or software development
Experience within a hospital accounting or operating environment and/or healthcare consulting firm. Big 4 accounting firm experience is a plus
Knowledge of healthcare revenue cycle best practices, processes, and policies
Solid hands-on experience in project and system development lifecycle
Strong understanding of project management methods, processes, standards, and tools
Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills, including the development of customer reports, proposals, presentations and training/communications materials
Excellent teamwork, communication and interpersonal skills
Functional design and data analysis skills
Outstanding problem solving and organizational skills
Previous experience with a hosted software solution or ASP based model a plus
Special Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Mathematics, Economics and/or Health Policy Preferred
Microsoft Office suite (i.e., Microsoft Project, Excel, PowerPoint)
