A BOUT THE POSITION:
This position would focus on growing and supporting the newly launched Core Performance programming being offered at the API Frisco, Texas facility. The Performance Specialist will be working with 3 various models of coaching- Executive Programming, Core Conditioning and Bootcamp oriented classes. A true engager that is passionate about fitness and is interested in being part of something new and exciting.
What does a Performance Specialist do?
Instructs, motivates, and assists clients in a safe, legal, moral, ethical manner to achieve their goals.
Conduct on-site assessments of clients (employees?) health utilizing our proprietary evaluative protocols.
Plans and prepares written performance enhancement programs, with support from our proprietary myCorePerformance programming.
Updates training plan and/ or reevaluates clients as needed to ensure optimal outcome.Maintain constant communication with clients to ensure goals are being met.
Partner with the employer to conduct various client engaging and educational activities and events, such as Lunch & Learns, Information Fairs, Campus activities, etc.
Report various metrics to operations, such as attendance, engagement, activity level.
Performs all aspects of position held in a professional manner.
The Performance Specialist will follow established policies and procedures of the company.
Participate in program planning and development, and will design and/or carry out related research.
Maintains professional credentials as required including attending necessary continuing education courses.
Staff Education including but not limited to soft tissue work, active isolative stretching and linear speed.
Responsible for presenting CP methodology through CP education programs
Some travel may be required
Requirements:
BA/BS Kinesiology or Sports Science required
(Masters preferred)
ATC preferred but not required
CSCS, NASM or related certification
Current CPR/AED
