Position Description:
Position manages Epocrates Pharmaceutical client relationships and is responsible for the successful completion of all client projects. Account Manager serves as the main point of contact for the client and works closely with Epocrates sales and operations teams.
Primary Responsibilities:
Develop and manage relationships with key health care organizations, primarily Pharma brand teams partnering with Epocrates
Oversee completion of all client projects, working with Medical Writers, Medical Editors, and Operations as needed
Manage submission and review of content
Prioritize and respond to ad hoc requests from clients
Maintain account tracking and reporting
Manage reporting of results to clients
Primary Skills/Competencies:
5 years of work experience in healthcare consulting, marketing, account management or sales
Solid understanding/experience in the healthcare industry, including brand marketing and regulatory processes
Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills; customer service orientation
Excellent organizational skills; ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and manage the projects to accomplish desired results
Self-starter who can work independently to solve problems creatively and prioritize tasks
Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally with multiple groups/departments, such as marketing, engineering, analytics and accounting
