Pharmaceutical Research and Development Internship Mystic Pharmaceuticals

Candidate qualifications:
Currently enrolled in an accredited science related program pursuing a bachelors or masters degree. Areas of study included are: molecular, pharmaceutical, chemical and biological sciences, e.g., molecular biology, biochemistry, pharmacology, chemical engineering etc.
Minimum of 3 semesters completed course work
At least 1 semester experience in academic research laboratory outside of required coursework (Undergrad research course OK)

Job Description Responsibilities:
Provide general lab assistance
Troubleshoot/maintain analytical equipment
Perform routine checks and measurements
Bottle labeling and chemical inventory
Sample management (storage, archive, disposal)
Keep detailed records of procedures and documentation of results
Develop research techniques and perform applications required for specific research projects
Analyze experimental data

Candidate must possess:
Basic skills for handling chemicals and glassware
Basic skills in chemistry and mathematics
Basic computer skills
Excellent presentation and communication skills
Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
Ability to multi-task and work cooperatively with others
HPLC / GC/MS experience is a plus
Interest in Pharmaceutical/Biotech related career.
