This position is ideally located in our San Mateo office. Telecommuting may be an option for the right candidate.
The responsibilities of this full-time position include:
- Content development for our drug information applications, with an emphasis on drug-drug interactions
- Drug information research & analysis, with an emphasis on drug-drug interaction literature evaluation
- Clinical communications with outside parties
- Clinical project management
- Collaboration with product development, marketing, sales, and other teams within the company
The successful candidate MUST have:
- A PharmD degree
- Active pharmacist license (any state)
- Completed a general practice or drug information residency
- Clinical practice and/or drug information experience
- Demonstrated proficiency with respect to current data-oriented knowledge involving drug interactions, including interaction mechanisms (e.g. efflux and uptake transporters, phase 1 and phase 2 metabolism, pharmacodynamic interactions)
The candidate should also possess:
- Exceptional communication skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Ability to quickly distill complex information into essential elements relevant to clinicians at the point of care
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced setting
- Proficient knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Working knowledge of various handheld technologies
- Medical editing/writing experience (preferred)
