Reporting to the MEDLAB Dayton Regional Operations Manager, The Phlebotomy Supervisor is responsible for the daily supervision and operations of the phlebotomy department in their specified territory/location, including the daily operation and duties of phlebotomists and team leaders in and around the location. The phlebotomy supervisor must be capable of monitoring all functions within the department.Your primary goal is to enhance the company's position and reputation by properly servicing and supporting and /or managing assigned phlebotomists and clients in a professional, dependable and timely manner. This individual also has responsibility for working and communicating with various Managers within the organization as needed to complete tasks on a daily basis.
Must possess good communication skills and be organized and detail oriented. Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to create and maintain positive working environment through effective management, and enforcing of company policies. Knowledge of Microsoft and other IT related programs is required. The ideal candidate for this position will also possess Supervisory experience and knowledge of progressive counseling. A college education is preferred.
