Responsible for the daily operations of the phlebotomy department in Akron/Canton. Supervise a mobile team of phlebotomist. Must have geriatric phlebotomy drawing skills. Responsible for interviewing, hiring and overseeing the training of new team members. Coach and mentor staff as appropriate.
Requires a High School Diploma and/or Medical Assisting or Phlebotomy Certification with experience drawing elderly patients preferably in a nursing home setting. Must have a valid drivers license and a well maintained personal car. Must have the ability to communicate the inportance of compliance and safety to other employees. The position requires excellent organizational and technical skills, the interpersonal talent to interface effectively with clients, management and office staff, with high levels of courtesy, tact and professionalism.
