About the Photogrammetry Software Engineer Role:
As a Photogrammetry Software Engineer at Skybox Imaging you will join the team responsible for developing software to process the vast amount of earth imagery obtained by our satellites.
You have a background in photogrammetry and geodesy and experience developing, deploying and supporting software products. You will be responsible for helping us place trillions of pixels onto the earth as we develop our roadmap of imagery and 3D products. You enjoy working in a collaborative environment and have excellent communication skills.
Skills and Experience:
B.S. or higher in Computer Science, Photogrammetry, Geodesy, or related fields
Excellent C/C++ development skills, ideally in a Unix environment
Proficiency in scripting languages such as Matlab, Python, etc. is desired
Minimum of 3 years of experience in photogrammetry including orthogeneration, aerial triangulation, block adjustment, and camera calibration.
Working knowledge of COTS photogrammetry tools such as LPS, PCI Geometica, BAE GxP, etc.
