PHP DEVELOPER Aylus Networks
The engineer will be responsible for designing, developing and testing back end features to support Aylus mobile applications. Develop, test, and maintain distributed and scalable web-based applications coded in PHP using Zend Framework. Participate in writing and maintaining requirements and specifications documents. Implement major new features and feature enhancements. Optimize code, track and eliminate bugs or defects. Assist QA with integration and usability testing.SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS:
Strong verbal and written communication skills
A minimum of 3-5 years LAMP experience using OO PHP as your main job, i.e. not just a basic knowledge.
Expertise of HTML Markup (no wysiwyg allowed) and CSS3.
Expertise of Javascript and jQuery.
Understanding of web services technologies such as AJAX, REST/CURL, JSON, XML, etc.
Solid experience using Linux; including development and deployment, etc.
Exceptional problem solving and troubleshooting skills
Demonstrated commitment to quality work, and ability to learn new technologies
Bachelor?s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent job experience.
DESIRABLE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
Familiar with Zend Framework.
Familiar with Facebook and other Social Media Interfaces, Plugins, and APIs.
Knowledge of Oracle and database abstraction layers, Active Record, Datamapper, etc.
Experience with streaming video or video communications is a plus
Experience with SIP, IMAP, SMS and Email messaging a plus.
Experience with Photoshop/CS Suite a plus.
Experience with Android and iOS layout a plus.
