We are seeking a highly skilled PHP Professional Services Software Consultant to join the Professional Services and Solution Consulting Team. This position offers the opportunity to work at various locations and provide consulting and guidance to customers and pre sales prospects including developers, consultants, and project managers.

This position is based in the US.
Position Responsibilities:

Deliver customer consulting engagements including deployments, development of PHP applications, performance & security reviews of PHP applications
Demonstrate Zend technologies during presales engagements and address technical aspects throughout the sales cycle
Expert level PHP architecture Consulting
Mentor and educate enterprise IT professionals on PHP, Zend products, Zend framework and LAMP technologies
Understand customer technical and business requirements, design and scope technical engagements
Deploy and configure Zend software products suite at customer sites
Represent Zend including as a speaker or author in PHP, LAMP/WAMP events and community resources

Skills and Experience:

3+ years experience developing professional PHP/LAMP solutions
3+ years experience delivering consulting for technical customer engagements
Apache and Linux administration and optimization required; Windows/IIS advantage.
Experience with Database Design and Optimization (MySQL preferred)
Zend Framework development experience - advantage
Knowledge of MVC, SOAP, SOA, and DOM
Advanced technical knowledge JavaScript, HTML, XML and AJAX
Strong software architecture skills in both an object-oriented and procedural environment and a working knowledge of design patterns
Must be willing to travel (50+)
Bachelors degree in Computer Science or equivalent academic experience

Ability to work both individually and in a team environment, meet tight deadlines and work on several projects simultaneously
Must be able to articulate advanced technical solutions and concepts to both business and technical audiences
Must be organized and able to commit and deliver project plans and timelines
