SUMMARY: Greenwich, CT Clinic
The Physical Therapist Director will be responsible for the overall quality and financial viability of their designated facility. This role will perform responsibilities under the general and direct supervision of Divisional Vice President. The Facility Director will provide oversight of the clinical operations, marketing and facility budgets of the site facility.
Review patient records for current diagnosis, past medical history, precautions, and contraindications
Adhere to all HIPAA regulations regarding patient confidentiality and recordkeeping
Assist with scheduling of patient appointments
Maintain a safe clinical environment
Perform patient evaluation, including all pertinent tests and measurements appropriate for required documentation in a timely manner
Develop a plan of care based on physician?s orders and evaluation findings
Instruct patients in home exercise programs, transfer training, positioning, safety issues, etc.
Document date, time and treatment applied at each session objectively in electronic documentation system ? i.e. progression, regression of functional abilities, or any adverse responses noted during session
Communicate, in a timely manner, with other professionals such information as appropriate to update the plan of care for the patient, coordinate services, or report adverse responses to treatment
Manage the overall leadership and operation of the clinic
Responsible for oversight of Clinical and Non-clinical staff within the Facility as it pertains to scheduling and staffing within budgeted guidelines, assisting in hiring, and executing disciplinary action of employees in facility.
Demonstrated ability to interpret and act upon key financial and operational metrics
Responsible for Facility budgets for Census, new patients, operating expenses, FTE and capital equipment
Review and report on Facility performance as it pertains to P&L
Demonstrated ability to understand and execute marketing strategies and tactics
Responsible for working directly with Vice President of Sales and Marketing via weekly discussions and regular contact in order to achieve new patient goals within Facility
Perform other diverse duties as requested or required
Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapist curriculum
Proof of licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of desired employment
Proof of USA employment eligibility
Demonstrated knowledge of operations and financial metrics
Demonstrated outstanding oral and written communication skills including fluency in the English language
Proven track record of successes in achieving revenue and service objectives
Proven ability to recruit, motivate, train and mentor a team of professionals
Demonstrated leadership qualities and administrative abilities to the job responsibilities as described
