Cogent HMG is seeking to add a Physician Recruiter to our Recruiting Team. The Physician Recruiter is responsible for the sourcing of qualified full time hospitalist physician candidates and is accountable to communicate and implement physician services roles and responsibilities to meet program goals and objectives.
DUTIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
Works with the Senior Physician Recruiter and Director of Physician Recruitment on maintaining program plans, policies, and procedures for recruitment, screening, selection, and placement of physicians.
Develops sources of qualified applicants for their assigned business unit.
Submits qualified Hospitalist and Intensivist candidates to the assigned Senior Physician Recruiter that works directly with the candidates program of interest.
Develops and maintains contacts with training programs, placement firms, current medical staff, hospital and practice managers, vendors and other sources of applicants.
Maintains the recruitment plan based upon the strategic plan.
Works with Cogent HMG?s marketing department on Web administration, social media, and corporate communications. Develops supporting marketing and collateral materials, and other sales tools.
Determines online internet marketing recruiting strategies for attracting and recruiting candidates.
Working with Strategic Business Unit leadership and Program Residency Outreach staff who develop on-campus and off-site recruitment programs and networking with physicians and residency programs who are a result of their efforts.
Maintains within our CRM physician management tracking system all recruitment activities, applicant flow and recruitment results as outlined within the Cogent HMG Physician Recruitment Roles and Responsibilities.
Works with their CBU recruitment team on preparing and analyzes statistical reports and other data to monitor candidate flow, selection, vacancy, turnover and retention rates.
Identifies and evaluates trends on healthcare recruitment, including location conditions, economic conditions and competitive institutions to develop innovative strategic plans to respond to these trends.
Work with corporate legal department to assure adherence to guidelines, rules and regulations. Assist legal department in revising and updating recruitment agreements.
Serves as a professional resource for Program Managers.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Bachelor?s degree (B.A.) preferred or equivalent; of three to five years? related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
PHYSICIAL DEMANDS/WORKING CONDITIONS ? requires prolonged sitting, some bending, stooping and stretching, requires eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity sufficient to operate a keyboard, photocopier, telephone, calculator and other office equipment. Requires normal range of hearing and sight to record, prepare and communicate appropriate reports within a normal office environment. Occasional evening or weekend work is required including extensive travel by air and/or auto.
