CafePress is looking for a bright, energetic, and highly intelligent plant accounting manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be highly analytical, possess strong business acumen as well as management capabilities. Duties require broad conceptual judgment, initiative and ability to deal with complex accounting issuesResponsibilities:
Responsible for all accounting/financial functions for plant, international production partners and multiple outsourced production facilities
Responsible for plant month end accounting close, quarterly physical inventory, plant budget, and daily/weekly operations reporting including shipping margin analysis, daily payroll analysis, and revenue/orders trend analysis
Responsible for development of policies, systems and internal controls
Manage accounts payable, cost accounting, and partner with inventory control group and procurement.
Management and development of staff
Create and implement process improvements
Provide costing and pricing analysis for website, retail store, B2B, special projects, and partners, cost as well as overhead review and analysis
Work with senior management on strategic projects
Qualifications:
B.S. in Finance, Accounting or other quantitative degree; CPA a plus
7-10 years manufacturing accounting experience, 4 as a manager
Demonstrated leadership, proven ability to mentor and develop staff
Expert quantitative/analytical skills; advanced Excel capabilities; SQL helpful
Demonstrable strategic thinking, influencing, problem solving and decision making skills
Excellent verbal and written communication
