Education Required:
2 year AA degree preferred, or post high school trade school
Experience Required:
? Minimum 2 years direct injection molding machine experience
? Minimum 5 years experience working with shop tools and fabrication machinery, including drill press, NC mill, sheet-metal bending tools
Primary Role:
? Set up and operate an injection molding machine to produce quality molded parts
Job Responsibilities:
Primary Responsibilities:
? Set up and operate injection molding machine
? Process quality control and inspection of molded parts
? General maintenance of injection molding machine
Secondary Responsibilities:
? Tracking molded part defects
? Processing and cleaning molded parts
? Assisting engineer with modifications to injection molding machine
Skills Required:
? Strong attention to detail
? Strong attention to safety
? Organization and quality control skills
? Ability to inspect parts under a microscope
Knowledge Required:
? Understanding the needs of an R&D technical environment and ability to work effectively and independently in such an environment
? Good written and verbal communication skills in English
? Ability to work with complex mechanisms such as injection molds
? Experience with building and testing complex mechanisms

? Requires the ability to perform as part of a team
? Ability to communicate in a clear, concise, personable manner
Required Interactions:
? Take direction from and coordinate with molding engineers
? Work with wafer fab personnel regarding part quality, processing, and supply

Working Environment/Minimum Physical Requirements:
? Able to lift a 20 kilogram bag of material
? Able to lift and manipulate 100 pound molds with chain hoist assist
? Strength and dexterity to be able to attach and detach molds
? Able to work standing for 7 hours a day
? Able to reach 3-4 feet into cramped spaces and make fine adjustments
