As the Connecture Platform Business Analyst, he or she will utilizes his or her business knowledge to gather requirements for enhancements from the DRX Product Roadmap. He or she will be primarily responsible for the process of translating business needs into system requirements. The Business Analyst works extensively with development team members to ensure the technical implementation of the enhancements fulfill the product vision defined by Product Management. DRX employs its Business Analysts to become a specialist in products on or moving to its SAAS platform, and will eventually predominantly focus on clusters of related products and features. This is a great position for someone that wants to have an impact and is looking to get into the rapidly changing world of healthcare, SAAS product management, or a more technical leadership position
Roles and Responsibilities
The essential responsibilities of the Platform Business Analyst and team will have the following responsibilities:
?Assist Product Management and design teams to guide agile team to appropriately scope and plan development projects by managing project definition and user requirement definition
?Manage feature definition and set appropriate guidelines for the user interface and functionality of the product.
?Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, abstract up from low-level information to a general understanding, and distinguish user requests from the underlying true needs.
?Elicit requirements using interviews, document analysis, site visits, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, business analysis, task and workflow analysis
?Distill information from differing stakeholder perspectives into a single, consistent message communicated to the Agile team.
?Identify and document business requirements and participate in design activities.
?Perform detailed product analysis and write functional design specifications.
?Create functional and wireframe prototypes, process flows, and screen mockups to illustrate requirements and scope.
?Tracks and documents changes to functional and business specifications.
?Serves as the conduit between the customer community and the development team through which requirements flow.
?Understand how to interpret business needs and translate them into application requirements.
?Participate in development activities in order to ensure proper communication of requirements and accuracy of development.
?Continually improve understanding of business needs from all stakeholder perspectives, including customers, 3rd party connectors, and host systems.
?Maintain product specific content.
?Successfully engage in multiple initiatives simultaneously

?Provide documentation of current and future processes
?Provide support across other Product departments as needed
?3-6 years of professional experience with progressively growing responsibilities
?Product management or development background with demonstrated ability to reach milestones in highly effective fashion
?Strong communication skills with Development and Customers on integration strategies
?Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills.
?Have worked with development teams using the Agile software development methodology.
?Prior knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC) methodologies including: client requirements gathering, design specifications, solution development and testing of client applications, client support, training, and systems integration.
?Strong ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects under pressure
