MediaMath is currently seeking Platform Optimization Consultants (POCs) with exceptional analytic and communication skills to assist and coach MediaMath?s clients on the use of our systems, including The TerminalOne trading platform, MathClarity business intelligence suite, and other products. POCs will work with clients to understand their business objectives, help design custom solutions for client needs where relevant, lead the design, launch, and management of campaigns to achieve those objectives, and interpret results and generate insights for clients. POCs will also actively focus on client empowerment, including training clients on the use of MediaMath systems, sharing best practices, educating clients about new features and capabilities, addressing general needs and questions pertaining to the digital marketing landscape, and delivering client feedback to the MediaMath team. This position would be ideal for candidates who have spent a few years in a data-driven role and are looking for a fast-paced, self-directed, and highly interactive career path in the fast-growing internet technology space.
POCs will work directly with MediaMath?s Sales & Account, Client Services and Product teams. After a period of intensive internal training, POCs may be placed on-site at a client location for several months at a time, either within or outside the US. Successful candidates will bring a strong problem-solving orientation, starting with understanding the client?s goals, developing hypotheses about what will drive the desired outcomes, and refining the approach over time as data proves or disproves the hypothesis. In addition to strong analytic skills, candidates must also possess excellent verbal communication skills, strong consultative skills, and the ability to solve problems on their own, as they will be expected to work independently with clients to address new challenges as they arise, and influence client decisions, actions, and outcomes.

Become expert at using MediaMath?s technology suite, including the TerminalOne trading platform, MathClarity reporting suite, and other MediaMath systems and tools
Develop a strong general understanding of the client?s business, for each assigned client
Build strong day-to-day relationships with clients and become a trusted advisor and thought partner when it comes the their digital marketing efforts
Work closely with MediaMath Sales, Account, and Client Solutions teams to understand specific client marketing needs and objectives, and assist in the development of custom solutions where relevant
Translate client objectives into the design of campaigns within the MediaMath platform that will best achieve those goals
Set up, launch, and manage campaigns across MediaMath supply & data partners
Monitor performance and analyze data to identify opportunities and issues, and refine the approach to optimize performance
Interpret results and generate actionable insights and recommendations for clients
Train clients on how to do all the above and best use the MediaMath platform themselves, including sharing best practices for campaign design & execution, optimizing performance, and generating insights, all using MediaMath?s systems
Educate clients about new features and capabilities and deliver feedback back to MediaMath Product team to guide product development
Act as client advocate within MediaMath, and as MediaMath advocate at client
Provide subject matter expertise to clients, addressing general needs and questions pertaining to MediaMath or the digital marketing landscape broadly
Requirements: The ideal candidate will possess the qualifications below.
1-2 years of experience applying data & analytics in a business environment (ideally in Media, Marketing, Consulting or Finance)
Experience with marketing campaign design, campaign management, and analysis preferred
Experience with or understanding of online advertising preferred
Clear and structured approach to problem-solving
Adept at analyzing data and distilling insights and recommendations
Strong attention to details
Ability to think creatively and react quickly to new challenges
Excellent verbal communication skills ? able to distill key ideas for a broad audience
Strong consultative and relationship-building skills ? able to influence others and drive them to action
Ability to successfully train & coach others
Self-directed ? able to work independently and juggle multiple priorities
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
