Tremor Video is seeking a Platform Support Engineer for our proprietary ad platform. The ideal candidate will possess a strong variety of software skills to build upon in this new role on a newly formed team focused on software support and delivery.
This role is entrepreneurial in nature and will allow for exciting learning and growth opportunities in a high growth space. This role will interface with our entire organization worldwide. This is not a Desktop Support Position.
Responsibilities:
Provide support for internal issues and either resolve or channel to the appropriate Tremor resources for resolution Coordinate software patches with different teams. Build and run custom database queries.
Build and maintain tools to diagnose complex problems and lead to quicker resolutions. Monitor certain ad server activities and make necessary adjustments.
Experience:
Previous experience in software troubleshooting and support.
Experience querying relational databases. Degree in computer science or a similar discipline Online advertising background is a plus.
Experience working with support ticketing systems JavaScript, Flash knowledge is a plus.
