JOB SUMMARY
The Training Manager is responsible for the delivery of training to onboard new clients using the self service platforms at ON24. This includes the creation and maintenance of all types of training documentation and best practices, help pages and customer communication centers. The training manager will work closely with the platform support team and Technical Account Managers to ensure clients are provided the necessary training and information to be successful using the ON24 systems. This person must be enthusiastic about teaching others on how to use products, and creative in the creation of various types of content to help instruct the ON24 customers.
JOB RELATIONSHIP
Reports to: VP, Customer Success
Organization Unit: Self Service Account Management / Platform Support
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Train new customers on the use of ON24 Applications (Webcasting, VBC and Vshow)
Conduct regularly scheduled training sessions for Elite Self Service customers
Creation/Maintenance of training materials for all ON24 Applications (Documentation, Online pages, Videos, etc.)
Oversee and maintain the Help pages and Customer/Partner Communication Centers
Manage the communications with the Self Service end users
Development of processes and documentation on channel partner enablement
Update / maintain documentation and training materials as the platform evolves
ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE
At least 5 years of work experience in training and/or documentation
A bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education, experience, and training that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
Proven competency in instructional design with expertise in the development of blended learning
Strong project management skills with experience in managing multiple training projects

Desire and enthusiasm for training others
The ability to build and sustain relationships and work effectively across departments in the gathering of information for training materials
Knowledge of the training industry including new methodologies for behavior transfer including blended approaches using e-learning
Strong Internet and Web technical skills
Development of training content creation (Videos, training webinars and documentation)
Strong writing skills
Ability to communicate effectively both written, verbally and persuasively with individuals as well as with small and large audiences
Professional experience with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Excellent organizational and planning, and communication skills.
Integrity, Creativity, Intellectual Curiosity, High Standards, Persistence, and Achievement oriented.
HIGHLY DESIRED EXPERIENCE
Experience with authoring and development software such as Dreamweaver, Captivate or Lectora
Strong knowledge of creative software such as PhotoShop
Video / Screenshare capture to create training content
A solid understanding of live and on-demand streaming media technologies combined with a working knowledge of audio/video streaming and codecs.
Must be prepared to work occasional non-standard hours and occasional travel.
