General Summary:Develops and supports code required to automate electromechanical processes.
Supports existing and future Paxit systems and continues application development. This includes migration to new technologies, new feature development, issue resolution of current systems and Workstation/Server support.
Provides on and off-site support for customers and is on-call 24/7.
Essential Responsibilities:
Responsibilities will include development tasks and customer support:
Assist with development of PLC code for electromechanical processes.
Assist with equipment acceptance testing.
Create automated tests (Unit Tests, Load Tests, etc.) and other software/machine simulation testing tools.
Coordinate software releases and collaborate with QA analysts to implement validation plans.
Assist with software documentation, compilation of standards and development ?cheat sheets?.
Provide IT infrastructure support.
Work with customer to streamline processes and gather requirements.
Associate?s / Bachelor?s degree in a technology related field or Microsoft Developer certifications
Minimum of two years experience with RSLogix 5000, RSLinx, and RSNetworx (DeviceNet). Experience with Cognex In-Sight Explorer and RSLogix 500 preferred
