Description:Plateau is seeking a Senior Product Manager to join our Product Management team. This position is based out of our Headquarters office in Arlington, VA.
Job Duties include:
o Drive the identification, development, and implementation of new product functionality and enhancements
o Determine the priority of features within the overall product plan
o Translate features and enhancements into specifications that are used by engineers during their development
o Determine the scope and schedule of product releases
o Contribute to product collateral and data sheets that accurately and clearly define the products' capabilities
o Communicate the capabilities of the product suite to customers, partners and internal staff
o Meet with customers to determine needs and to define new product functionality
o Participate in the analysis of the market landscape and competitive threats/ opportunities, including detailed analysis of key competitors
o Maintain a working knowledge of current software technologies
o Monitor the software industry for technological advancements that could improve the product suite
Required Qualifications:
o BA/BS or advanced degree required
o Minimum of 6 years experience in software product management, plus some enterprise software experience
o Excellent oral and written communications skills
o A thorough understanding of software development and computer/Internet technologies
o Excellent client and personal relationship skills; enthusiastic, hard working and pleasant attitude
o Strong analytical and conceptual skills
o Strong project management and organizational skills
o Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a rapidly changing environment.
