Job Description :
Project Managers with PMP Certification to work on large scale capital projects in a commerical nuclear facility.
Provide support to NGG in the development and implementation of major departmental or plant wide projects, including functional requirements, training, use of technology, budget, and management of consulting resources. Financial and personnel accountability.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES : These are primary responsibilities only, other responsibilities may be required.
?Achieve Project Objectives
?Advise Project Sponsor of issues that can adversely affect meeting Project Objectives
?Conduct business analyses, feasibility studies, for proposed projects
?Develop functional requirements for the project
?Develop and manage the project budget including ROI analyses
?Evaluate existing and new technologies and systems needed
?Develop and obtain resource needs for project development and implementation including outside services, if needed
?Participate as, or assign duties of, NGG representative in corporate or industry initiatives related to the project
?Develop project plans, schedules, resource requirements, milestones, and performance indicators
?Manage project close-out upon completion, including an analysis of the project?s success in meeting the ROI goals
?Provide timely reports to Senior Management and the station on the status of the project and progress on project goals
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Education / Experience (includes formal degrees, licenses, certifications, etc):
Education: Bachelors degree in Accounting, Business, Engineering, Finance, Economics or related technical field, or equivalent education or experience
Certification/s: PMI, Project Manager
Special Skills: Special skills directly related to the area of the assigned project may be required as necessary
Experience: Five (5) years experience in commercial nuclear power; demonstrated ability in project management
Other: Ability to write clear, concise reports; ability to make presentations to higher management; ability to direct and motivate a diverse, matrixed workforce
