Pharmaca Integrative Pharmacy is a small retail chain with 24 stores in 5 western states. Located at our headquarters in Boulder, this position will be an integral part of our IT Team assisting our stores with their POS systems and participating in the helpdesk service. Specifically you will:

• Support all aspects of our Point-of-Sale (POS) platform.
• Manage the day-to-day POS activities including patch implementation, version control, upgrades, hardware procurement, hardware support, lab activities, and all related documentation.
• Take ownership of the POS platform, leading the technical design, development and implementation of new POS features.
• Participate as an active part of our helpdesk including on-call support.
• Assist in creating and maintaining useful, organized documentation.
• Travel to our locations as necessary.
• Lead and/or assist in the implementation of new technology and software.
• Provide world-class, fanatical, customer service for our stores and team members.
• Support your team.
• Establish effective working relationships with peers and business partners.
• Other duties as assigned.

In order to achieve success in this position you will need the following:

• 3 plus years technical experience.
• 2 plus years POS experience, transferable experience will be considered.

• Strong administrative and organizational skills.
• Proven ability to successfully work on a small team.

• Experience with

-helpdesk support processes in a multi-site environment.

-Windows PC and server procurement, deployment, support, and maintenance.

-supporting a multi-site, highly secure network.

-implementing and managing Active Directory.

- scripting in a Microsoft environment.

• Proven ability to begin and end projects.
• Effective time-management skills and the ability to work without direct supervision.
• Ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Ability to travel, including driving.
• Patience, understanding, flexibility, and a sense of humor.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• A desire to be part of a high-performance and collaborative team.
• Strong oral and written communication skills and exceptional problem solving skills.
