Polymer Chemist Strategic Polymer Sciences, Inc.

SPS is seeking a polymer chemist to develop new and modify existing electro active polymers materials for energy storage and actuator applications. Responsibilities will also include laboratory management, identification of new, polymer related opportunities and solutions and writing proposals to secure funding for new projects.

Qualifications:

PhD in polymer science, chemistry, material science, or chemical engineering

Hands-on laboratory experience in monomer and polymer synthesis and characterization

Expertise in material structure-morphology-property relationships

Excellent technical writing skills

Highly motivated self-starter with a can-do attitude and the ability to solve complex problems

Experience in fluoropolymer chemistry is preferred.
