Job Summary
The solutions analyst will work on-site with one of MedVentive?s most important customers, Indiana University Health. The overall role is to support the on-going growth, roll-out and successful usage of MedVentive?s Population Manager and Risk Manager products to a wide variety of constituents, including IUH Quality Partners staff, health plan staff, medical directors, key community physician leaders, and staff in the physician offices.
Duties include extensive data analysis and validation, supporting ad-hoc reporting needs, being an internal subject matter expert (SME) on the two products, and frequent interaction with and support of end users.
The ideal candidate will enjoy working with clients and internal staff in a fast-paced environment. This position requires strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to coordinate internal and external resources. The ideal candidate will possess strong SQL and scripting skills, as well as an understanding of database structures & schemas. Strong data analysis skills are imperative, with the ability to independently assess data issues and resolve problems. Prior healthcare data experience is essential.
Primary Responsibilities
Data Validation
Bi-directional data validation of all data sources in MedVentive Population Manager and Risk Manager.
Identifying issues arising in data sources and in the MedVentive processing cycle, and to set forth a detailed plan for correction, testing and reprocessing.
Project lead on new data sources.
Coordinate with Data Operations, Development, Client Services and all other areas in MedVentive as appropriate.
Ad-hoc Reporting
Support MedVentive and IUH in a wide variety of ad-hoc data analysis requests and reporting.
Assist IUH in preparing presentations and reports for internal and external constituents.
Internal SME
Be IUH?s first line of contact for product questions.
Research and coordinate with MedVentive resources as needed, including clinical analysts, data operations, product management and development.
Document product enhancement ideas and requests in Jira, and work closely with IUH and MedVentive product management to develop and sign off on requirements, if necessary.
Demo the two products in a thorough and professional manner.
Product Adoption
Work closely with IUH to roll-out the two products to all constituents, including physician offices across the state.
Overall
Create, maintain, update and adjust as necessary project plans using Microsoft Project.
Work closely with the MedVentive Account Manager.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience
Bachelors degree, preferably with a computer science-related major.
Expert knowledge of SQL and/or other database query tools.
Experience with an integration/interface engine or ETL tools a plus.
Minimum of two years experience with healthcare or pharmacy data.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proven analytic ability and problem-solving skills.
Ability to diagnose, research and resolve technical issues independently or as a cooperative member of a team.
Ability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines while providing quality results.
Experience with Web-based applications, including knowledge of various operating systems and application servers.
Ability to clearly articulate issues and resolutions, and track them using MedVentive?s CRM tracking tool.

Willingness to travel up to 25% of time.
