Position:
Clinical Solutions Consultant (France) Vocera Communications
Scope of Position
Vocera Clinical Solutions Consultants are involved in clinical discovery, pre-deployment presentations and workshops, clinical work flow analysis and design, establishing best practice implementation processes, on-site training and consultation, and performing project management duties. The Clinical Solutions Consultant works with Customers, Partners, and the Professional Services Team with the goal of identifying Vocera opportunities, and developing Vocera solutions that produce workflow improvements, support the end user and maximize the benefits of the product. This position is based in France and requires extensive travel within France.
Responsibilities
- Assist sales team with clinical discovery sessions, sales calls, and conference calls to accelerate new account development and expansions
- Understand customer's requirements and assist sales team with developing proposals for solutions and services; Provide consultation and assist sales team in responding to RFPs and writing services engagement letters
- Communicate and demonstrate clinical solutions value statement, options for clinical workflow design and Vocera solutions that improve and optimize customer's workflow and processes, and clinical education services to prospective customers
- Support tradeshows and professional conferences
- Establish and maintain relationships with nurses, doctors, and other healthcare professionals in the healthcare community; Stay current with nursing profession as it relates to national trends, care models, clinical initiatives, and clinical outcomes.
- Assist with the design of customer-specific databases and development of system-level specifications to implement work and communication flows
- Lead clinical workflow design sessions at project sites gathering data and working with the client's clinical staff in developing new processes and workflow improvements
- Assist with training of nurse call and patient alarm integration
- Provide consultation and training strategies that include Vocera best practices
- Manage, coordinate and deliver clinical / system training for clients
- Represent and build the Vocera brand by serving as a liaison between Vocera, Vocera Contractors, Third Party Vendors and Customers
- Maintain open communication with Vocera's Professional Service team, Technical Support Engineers, and Areas Sales Managers
- Contribute to development of clinical best practices through collaboration with Vocera Practice Management and the Project Management Office
- Develop drafts of clinical documentation and assist with clinical marketing and support of new products and services
- Identify and develop additional revenue opportunities in coordination with Sales team
- Comply with standard Professional Services deployment methodology
- Effectively communicate project status to team members and stakeholders in a timely, consistent, and clear manner
- Effectively communicate with senior clinical customer contacts
- Comply with administrative policies (i.e. time reporting, expense reporting, calendar maintenance, etc…)
Education, Skills & Experience
- BA/BS (or equivalent degree) required
- Registered Nurse with active license in France; Five plus years of nursing practice in an acute care hospital
- Good understanding and experience with French healthcare system
- Demonstrated ability to converse, read/write, and interact with other personnel in English
- Some clinical consultative experience preferred
- Experience and demonstrated success in clinical workflow analysis or process redesign preferred
- Experience managing projects including documenting system requirements, creating and maintaining project plans, writing project status reports, managing internal teams and working with client IT and clinical units to deliver solutions compliant with standard processes and meeting project success criteria preferred
- Experience with training in a clinical environment desirable
- Clinical experience in telemetry or critical care nursing with patient monitoring a plus
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including demonstrated ability to develop and deliver excellent presentations, proposals, workflow designs, and training materials
- Demonstrated ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects
- Basic knowledge of computer operations and ability to use MS Excel/Office, Visio and Microsoft Project tools
- Interest and desire in using technology to improve healthcare practices and productivity
- Requires ability to utilize resources, problem solve independently
- Enjoy extensive travel throughout France, with the possibility of occasional international travel
