Position: Credit Analyst I Vocera Communications

Scope of Position
This is a full time position, reporting temporarily to the VP, Chief Accounting Officer. Candidate in this role will be responsible for the collection of outstanding customer invoices as well as all information relating to the collection process. The position works closely and collaboratively with the Sales and Service ,departments, as well as other Finance team members. The ideal Candidate must have 5+ years of experience in Credit Collection role in a dynamic high volume environment.
Responsibilities

• Conduct collection calls and customer correspondence relating to outstanding AR invoices
• Provide customer service regarding collection issues, resolve client discrepancies and short payments
• Prepare outstanding accounts reports and gather credit and/or reference information
• Resolution of outstanding invoice problems from past due accounts
• Reconciliation of customer accounts, including potentially small balance write offs and adjustments
• Communicate and follow up effectively with the Sales department regarding customer accounts
• Enlist efforts of Sales and senior management when necessary to accelerate the collection process
• Assist in the continuous improvement and streamlining of collection and reporting processes
• Performs other related Ad hoc projects as required

Education, Skills & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related area
• 5+ years Collections experience is preferred
• Experience with Great Plain or large ERP is preferred
• Experience with a high-volume, multi-unit organization is preferred
• Strong attention to detail and excellent follow-through skills
• Good communication and organizational skills
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize work
• Ability to meet deadlines
• Good team player
