Scope of Position
Experia Health is currently seeking a dynamic and highly talented individual to join our growing team. This individual will lead the firm's research agenda; seeking ways to address common challenges facing senior-most hospital Patient Experience and Safety Officers. The work is centered firmly on delivering value to time pressed, outcome-oriented executives who have principal responsibility for optimizing the patient, family, and employee experience at their respective organizations.
Responsibilities
- Assess critical industry-wide problems using qualitative and quantitative research skills, and evaluate leading industry practices for overcoming these challenges
- Be responsible for distilling insights into recommendations for an executive audience
- Have responsibility for all phases of work from concept and production of strategic research deliverables, practical solutions for operational challenges and formal presentations to the membership
- Have responsibility for building relationships with industry executives and expanding the program's membership base
Education, Skills and Experience
- Advanced degree in the liberal arts, sciences, or professions (MA, PhD, JD, MBA)
- Eight + years of work experience
- Research, advisory, or management consulting experience
- Functional knowledge of healthcare issues is strongly preferred
- Extensive people, project and client management experience
- Superior analytical skills, as demonstrated by a track record of thought leadership and problem solving activities, preferably within a consulting and/or research environment
- Excellent oral communications, writing and presentation skills, and a deep interest in developing insights and pragmatic research solutions for top executives grappling with strategic decisions and other business issues
- Willingness to travel 15-20%
