Sr. Director, National Practice Leader Vocera Communications

ExperiaHealth is seeking an enthusiastic, creative, and collaborative National Practice Leader to provide overall strategy and direction for client engagements and new business prospects. As a senior member of the ExperiaHealth team, the National Practice Leader will develop and build ExperiaHealth's consulting offering, provide day-to-day management of internal and external consultants, identify and implement new service delivery models, and ensure Experia's clients receive exceptional value from our work. The position will be located in San Francisco, CA and requires extensive travel.
Responsibilities:
- Business & Client Development - identify, contract, retain, and grow clients at the highest level
- Engagement Management - end-to-end responsibility for assessing opportunities and developing sustainable solutions which improve the financial, clinical, operational, and strategic performance of our clients
- New Product Development â€" oversee the research, testing, development and packaging of new Experia services and solutions
- P&L Management - ensure consistent (over) achievement of financial bookings, revenue, and expense targets
- Talent Managementâ€" recruit, manage, and develop A+ talent
Requirements
- Advanced degree in the liberal arts, sciences, or professions (MD, RN, PhD, JD, MBA)
- 10+ years of work experience
- Research, advisory, or management consulting experience required
- Health system executive experience preferred
- Exceptional knowledge of healthcare issues
- Extensive people, project and client management experience
- Superior analytical skills, as demonstrated by a track record of thought leadership and problem solving activities, preferably within a consulting and/or research environment
- Excellent oral communications, writing and presentation skills, and a deep interest in developing insights and pragmatic r solutions for top executives grappling with strategic decisions and other business issues
- Willingness to travel 70%+
