Practice Director â€" Delivery Department: Public Sector Reports to: Service Director â€" Public Sector Division: Professional Services JOB SUMMARY: As a key leader within the public sector business unit this individual will manage, mentor and direct the project manager and business consultants assigned to the business unit. Additionally, this position will forecast revenue, drive project profitability and sales of services, and ensure compliance with established methodologies. Will play a key role in setting and exceeding customer expectations, developing relationships with customer executives and monitoring the quality for services delivered during and post implementation. PERFORMANCE DIMENSIONS & KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS (KPI) Specific KPI's Critical to the Success of Position: 1. Meet and exceed Services revenue/utilization targets and margin goals. 2. Ensure forecasting accuracy. 3. Manage Expense P&L. 4. Set clear performance goals for team members that are linked to business strategy and manage for results. 5. Meet employee retention goals. 6. Drive Business Improvements in industry vertical. Title: Practice Director - Delivery Grade: Essential Functions: Management/Leadership: • Responsible for the management, development, and overall public sector project management team. • Mentorship & Development of project management team. • Provide guidance on career planning, skill development and performance management. • Establish coaching and mentoring networks. • Work with Resource Management and Vertical business units to understand short and long term resource needs. • Development of group skill sets to provide competence across the Practice capable of servicing the ongoing requirements of the business unit. • Responsible for revenue, margin and customer satisfaction for a specific set of clients, who in turn are responsible for a team within assigned industry vertical. Delivery of Services: • Responsible for all activities surrounding the delivery of services, successful implementations, and overall client satisfaction within public sector for all Infor products. • Support delivery activity to help ensure delivery of quality, on-time on-budget projects, and deliver margin. • Serve as escalation point for client issues and concerns. • Resolve complex business problems. • Coordination and oversee appropriate 3rd party project resources. Sales of Services: • Drive sales of services across public sector business unit. Responsible for implementation solution definition of Infor products to meet customer needs, in conjunction with PD of sales • Support RFP response content generation with definition of solution to be delivered. • Seek additional revenue opportunities and negotiate contracts of work to maximize revenue generation directly and via team members. • Develop strong relationships with key sales personnel. P and L Management: • Provide relevant/requested forecasting data to Executive Management. • Achieve target margin, revenue, customer satisfaction and utilization • Minimize free of charge services within projects. Communication: • Be a spokesperson internally and externally to support area development and growth. • Develop strong relationships with key client and internal personnel including competency centers, shared services groups and PMO. • Manage internal communication to employees. Minimum Qualifications • Bachelors Degree in a related field or equivalent work experience • 10 years experience in software implementation or related industry 5 years budget management experience; revenue and cost budgeting experience • Experience managing public sector project delivery • 2 years business management P&L experience • 2 years management experience as head of a consulting team, preferably in a shared service model • Proven/demonstrated ability in all areas of essential functions • Proven ability to develop and maintain effective internal and external business relationships with various levels of management; prior experience working with, and or coordinating the efforts of multiple parties Preferred Qualifications • Lawson/Hansen/EAM Software experience in Services • Lawson/Hansen/EAM PM experience • Solution architect experience for wide breadth of software solution Equal Opportunity Employer: All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, marital status, gender, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, national origin, genetics, disability, age, or veteran status or any other characteristic protected by law applicable to the state in which you work.
