Axiom, a new model professional services firm and a revolution in the legal industry, is seeking a Practice Management Intern to support attorney recruiting and client development initiatives in our Atlanta office.
What we?re looking for
This role requires strong communication skills, a tremendous amount of initiative and organizational skills, and a desire to work in an innovative growth environment. The intern will play an integral role in the overall success of the company and our ability to expand our business.
The Intern will:
Assist with multiple aspects of the attorney recruiting process, including screening applicants, scheduling interviews, conducting diligence, and overseeing orientation. Serve as the first point of contact with attorneys (and potentially, clients) by offering them a short introduction to our business model
Support ongoing sales efforts (including research/prospecting, preparing client pitch materials and handling ongoing follow-up with prospects)
Manage/track client prospects
Author client letters, emails, and phone scripts
Oversee and manage our client database
Assess attorney skill sets in light of client needs
Assist in the fulfillment of client needs, and the management of attorney assignments
Assist with strategic initiatives and events (such as client roundtables and social gatherings)
Our ideal candidate
An ideal candidate will be a junior or senior from a top-tier college or university. This is a position for someone who loves to connect with people, exhibits outstanding judgment and professionalism, and thrives in a fast-paced and entrepreneurial environment. This position requires the confidence to contact experienced professionals and speak to them about what we do in a credible and compelling way. The intern must be able to work a minimum of 10-15 hours per week.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Has had prior experience that demonstrates comfort in communicating with sophistication and confidence; has high-impact presentation and analytical skills
Instinctive ability to build and nurture client relationships
Incredibly proactive; able to anticipate and resolve issues, demonstrates great initiative

Excellent communication and presentation skills
Highly proficient with the Microsoft Office suite (including PowerPoint and Excel)

Legally eligible to work in the country in which the position is located
Education
Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree at a top-tier college or university.
