Acting as Digital Demo Team- Lead, responsible for producing labels & packaging samples to advance the Step of Sales (SOS) also for conducting product capabilities demonstrations to advance the SOS to closure where the prospect converts. Key functions include: developing and understanding requirements and implicit needs of prospects, obtaining prospects? test files and match prints, obtaining substrates required, developing and proofing process capability in advance of face to face demo, conducting face to face demonstrations, supporting ROI analysis.
Responsible for supporting day-to-day activities in demo room that include both digital and analog print environments. These activities include proof of concepts application testing, customer benchmarks, samples and the demonstration processes.
Performs demonstrations on Mark Andy Digital Series printing and converting equipment, workflows and color management solutions to support the sales activities to executives, operations managers and operations staff of prospect accounts.
Develop prospect?s test files to support demos and sample production. Will use Esko software tools and Mark Andy RIP and Digital Front-End (DFE) to produce files printed on the Digital Series press (for: digital printing, flexo plate separations, and dies) develop and maintain digital prepress, ripping, DFE, plate making tools (Esko, Mark Andy DFE, plate making, ancillary).
Supports R&D and other Engineering activities, aiding and participating in the development of DFE solutions, digital pipeline, and press operator interfaces. Will operate press as needed to support E2E solution development, testing and certification.
Provides post-sales support for Mark Andy Digital Series press clients.
Supports field selling, tradeshow and varied marketing activities.
Perform daily and other operator maintenance procedures on Digital Series press and ancillary equipment to ensures all digital demo room equipment is operating at optimal condition at all times.
Provide operator training and remote support to clients for prepress, RIP and DFE
Will travel up to 30+%

Comfortable working for extended periods in a production environment typical within the graphics, labels & packaging industries.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills: can speak, relate, teach and interact well with production personnel and equally well with production, operations staff, and equally well with executive management.
Affinity and aptitude for:
Learning, using, and developing software solutions.
Operating production machinery, specifically digital printing devices integrated with analog material handling and converting functions.
Teaching others how to operate and fully leverage capabilities of full color digital printing for use in labels & packagin converting operations.
Bachelor?s degree in a technical, graphic, and printing discipline is highly desirable; relevant specialized technical training and certifications for graphics management software (file management, color, MIS, web to print, similar) are most valued.
7 or more years of related experience in digital press operations within labels & packaging industry.
5 years? experience or with comprehensive training in all software applications related to digital graphics arts and printing. Strong technical knowledge and experience in digital pre-press operations are required.
Strong graphic software skill including the Adobe Suite packages.
