The pre-sales consultant is responsible for supporting the sales team in designing a solution to address client?s business requirements. Qualified individuals must possess both a technical understanding of SaaS solutions, plus domain expertise around customer experience/loyalty. In this capacity, pre-sales consultants must have a working knowledge of building and managing customer experience/loyalty programs. The position is based in San Mateo, CA, but will require flexibility for travel ? mainly within the western States.
Working with the sales representative to understand customer/prospect business requirements and craft relevant solutions to address these needs.
Maintain a high level of understanding of the Satmetrix enterprise application capabilities and features to position and demonstrate the product in a compelling manner
Understand customer use cases and be able to demonstrate how the product addresses each of these use cases.
Act as the product champion for the region providing ongoing education of capabilities and value proposition to sales and account management teams.
Prepare clear and convincing proposals, presentations and demonstrations in both written and oral format
Prepare business case justification for investment in Satmetrix solutions
Define the scope of services needed to support the client?s program goals.
Lead internal transition meeting with the services delivery team for new solutions sold
Skill requirements, 3-5 years experience in the following areas:
Experience with enterprise applications such as CRM, CEM and other relevant applications
Experience with SaaS delivery model & social media
Ability to communicate effectively with external and internal audiences
Strong presentation & selling skills
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Prior experience in pre-sales support to business buyers
The ability to participate in the development and execution of sales strategies
Ability to work well independently and prioritize tasks from multiple sources
Commitment to client success and value realization
Meet regional bookings goals
Work collaboratively with sales & delivery teams
Contribute new materials and ideas to support global sales team
