Pre-Sales Engineer - Healthcare Liaison Technologies
THIS JOB HAS EXPIRED As a Liaison Healthcare Pre-Sales Engineer (PSE), you?ll be a domain expert and champion for the Liaison EMR-based lab ordering and radiology ordering systems. You?ll work independently from your home office, but as part of a team that?s passionate about providing excellent lab and radiology ordering/reporting systems that benefit the care providers, the labs, and the imaging centers. You?ll teach clients and prospects how our systems make their practice or their lab more successful, you?ll create product demonstrations, you?ll write white papers showcasing different workflows and use cases, and you?ll provide training for resellers of Liaison products.
This position requires strong knowledge of practice workflows; how tests are ordered and reports reviewed within an EMR workflow. It requires good working knowledge of labs and how they process orders and results. It requires excellent verbal and written communication skills and a teamwork frame of mind.
You will be part of a team with a focused mission to:
Enhance the physician and their staff?s ability to provide patient care through EMR ordering workflow and interoperability.
Enhance our hospital and lab partner?s outreach services to the practices they serve through exceptional integration to the practice?s EMR workflow
Possess expert knowledge on everything about a practice?s lab and imaging ordering needs and how Liaison products satisfy those needs
Create product demos that showcase EMR-Link?s benefits to the practices and to the lab and imaging service providers
Responsible for being an EMR-Link expert, testing the products, documenting them, and suggesting enhancements
Work with practice?s EMR IT teams and the lab?s IT teams to answer their workflow and technical questions about Liaison products and services
Performs needs assessments for practices to determine their requirements for diagnostic test ordering, their existing IT infrastructure, and their staff expertise and propose Liaison products and services to solve appropriate problems
Performs needs assessments for labs and radiology systems to determine their requirements for outreach, their existing IT infrastructure, their staff expertise and propose Liaison products and services to solve appropriate problems
Assesses new project requirements and scopes out new workflows for new development and partnering opportunities
Manages new development project opportunities from initial scoping phase through the sales process and ultimately the hand-off to an Liaison implementation consultant
Oversee and manage partner relationships with Liaison VAR?s (Value Added Resellers), EMR vendors, and other strategic vendor relationships; Assisting with sales efforts, and any and all partner implementation responsibilities
Two or more years? experience with EMR ordering systems or stand-alone lab ordering/reporting systems; either as an end user, an implementation consultant, or as a sales/marketing product expert
Project management experience
BA, BS or equivalent
Experience with technical implementation and training of EMRs, HL7 interface engines, and/or lab ordering systems is desirable
Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to communicate complex issues in a clear concise manner
Able to write customer-facing documentation
Strong customer service attitude
Excellent detail tracking and follow-through
Ability to learn new technologies rapidly and self-sufficiently
