Pre-Sales Engineer Magnum Semiconductor

Magnum is seeking a Pre-Sales Engineer. You will effectively lead customer technical engagements, including managing, troubleshooting and resolving difficult systems and networking issues; responsible for onsite and remote installations, integration, testing and follow-up support of a broad range of digital video technologies into head-ends and networks. Primary Responsibilities:
Drive and perform customer demos for released and pre preleased products and solutions
Conduct technical discussions with customers to produce target specifications
Travel to customer sites to rectify problems
Remotely trouble shoot issues and guide customers' staff to resolution
Isolate system faults to unit level
Provide accurate description and support data to assist quick resolutions
Install and integrate small digital video systems at customer premises
Qualifications:
2 years of relevant industry experience
Linux OS knowledge
Streaming video technologies
This position requires up to 30% travel
Solid technical background and business acumen
Excellent communication, documentation and presentation skills
Desired:
MPEG/Video knowledge
