Pre-Sales Engineer KEMP Technologies

As a member of the EMEA Sales team, the Presales Engineer will provide technical input as part of the Sales process for KEMP?s LoadMaster and LoadMaster GEO products to prospective customers and channel partners in developing regions. They will also act as a point of contact for other in-region presales engineers to other departments within KEMP.
Presales Engineers are expected to be comfortable to communicate in highly technical conversations with customers and partners and provide input and expertise on designing an implementation with them.
The Presales Engineer will primarily assist customers and partners via phone, email and through remote screen sharing tools, however on occasion it may be necessary to attend customer sites.
Travel will be required.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Act as a technical point of contact for the EMEA Sales team. Liaise with the members of this team and provide guidance and training on the technical aspects of KEMP?s LoadMaster and LoadMaster GEO products.
Provide technical support to prospective customers and partners who are trialing KEMP?s LoadMaster and LoadMaster GEO products.
Provide training and product demonstrations for prospective customers and partners.
Provide backup coverage for in-region Presales Engineers.
Act as a point of contact for in-region Presales Engineers between other KEMP EMEA departments.
Participate in meetings with KEMP?s Post Sales Customer Support team and share relevant information with the in-region Presales Engineers.
On demand, attend conferences and shows to assist KEMP?s Sales Team.
Create and maintain demo environments used for Product presentations.
Manage and deliver on internal projects and sales targets.
Desired Skills and Experience
Bachelor?s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
Excellent troubleshooting, analysis and creative problem-solving abilities.
Ability to deliver technical and sales presentations autonomously when required
Excellent Business writing and presentation skills.
Experience working and support Partner Channels and End Users.
Ability to relay technical information to customers with varying skill levels.
In-depth knowledge of networking protocols, specifically TCP/IP.
Proficiency with Windows and Linux Operating Systems.
Microsoft Exchange, SharePoint and Lync experience is desirable.
Technical Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, MCSE or VCP5 are advantageous but not
