Job Responsibilities: Technical Pre-Sales Position
NICE Systems is seeking an experienced ICM Solution Specialist to join our team. This person needs to be highly motivated, entrepreneurial, and able to articulate technical and business value to a variety of audiences. Primary responsibilities include:
Effectively support early and late stage deals to establish NICE as the technical leader in the Sales and Service Performance Management space.
Sell consultatively to senior executives and develop a deep understanding of customer business processes and technical landscape
Work in tandem with NICE Account Executives to develop and deliver compelling presentations and product demonstrations
Maintain and enhance NICE sales demo instances to keep up with product releases and create the best possible external image
Lead ICM proof-of-concept and custom demonstration activities:
o Interpret customer requirements and develop working prototype solutions within NICE Sales Performance Management.
o Architect solutions which showcase NICE advantages and promote easy comprehension
o Present in depth to business and technical audiences while maintaining focus on high level value proposition and sales strategy.
Work closely with Product Management to distill marketplace requirements into product enhancements
Requirements:
5+ years of experience in the enterprise software marketplace
Recent prior employment in a hands-on technical role (developer, architect, client services)
Strong technical aptitude, and experience with the following technologies: SQL, XML, HTML, Oracle Database, OLAP/Analytics, Microsoft Access / Excel, Windows, Linux
Prior experience with ICM software or companies: Callidus, Varicent, Xactly, Oracle, Synygy, Versata/Trilogy, SAP/Vistex, nGenera/Moxie, CompTech, etc
Analytics/Business Intelligence experience, particularly MicroStrategy
A proven track record of performance in highly technical and competitive sales environments
Self-starter and technical ?tinkerer? seeking technical depth and complete understanding
Experience in early-stage company environments - can include new divisions within larger companies
Ability to manage multiple, complex sales opportunities simultaneously
Ability to deliver value propositions to customer's senior staff and navigate all key functions within large customer organizations (e.g. IT, Finance, Operations)
Confident and energetic; professional and team-oriented
Excellent written and oral communications
Strategic thinker with a strong technical aptitude
Vertical market selling experience including Banking, Credit cards, Insurance, Telcos, Healthcare and others
4 Year Bachelor degree in a technical or financial field
