Premier Account Manager - MegaPath (Costa Mesa, CA or Austin, TX or Pleasanton, CA)
OBJECTIVE: The Premier Account Manager is the primary interface between MegaPath and its major customers. They are accountable to ensure effective and efficient delivery of MegaPath Products and Services to its customers. The Premier Account Manager is responsible for customer implementations at the field level, and the consistent development and deployment of all MegaPath products in compliance with Service Level Agreements (SLA) contracted by MegaPath.
The Premier Account Manager is required to manage multiple, concurrent, complex engagements. Must be able to work effectively and assertively across all levels of the business as well as coordinating with other organizations within MegaPath and with customers. Success in this position requires a demonstrated ability to handle a high level of detail and ability to track and manage deployments.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS / RESPONSIBILITIES:
Ensure solution delivery on time, on budget, and business results are on target with customer expectations
Provides implementation guidance and product requirements and configuration mentoring to customers
Defines and delivers clear Statements of Work and Solutions for MegaPath customers
Monitors and reports metrics by developing and ensuring execution of communication plans
Manages customer implementation of services and projects assigned to them and successfully executes against a communicated project plan
Confers with MegaPath departments to resolve problems and provide recommendations and guidance
Initiates weekly status meetings (on-site and remote) with the customer to provide reporting and review quality of services delivered and identify any required changes or improvements
Presents status reports to the different MegaPath service departments, executives, and staff
Reviews project results at completion and recommend changes to improve service delivery and project methodology
Identifies add-on opportunities when appropriate
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor?s degree preferred
7+ years project management or customer account management experience
Managed IT Services Industry experience preferred
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
Excellent project management skills, highly capable of prioritizing activities and schedules based on importance to obtain results
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
Excellent customer relationship management skills
Understanding of customer business objectives and how MegaPath solutions can support these objectives
Solid operational knowledge of MegaPath customer and product integration processes and workflows
Conceptual understanding of IP-based telecommunications services
Effective leadership skills
Demonstrated ability to establish trust and credibility, follow through on commitments, take ownership for team performance
Strong written and oral communication and presentation skills
Proficient using the Microsoft Office Suite of applications
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Constant use of keyboard and mouse
Near constant phone use with or without headset
Must be able to deal with the stress of high demanding customers

General office environment; cubicle; fast paced; can be noisy
