Expand company business through collaboration with Sales, Professional Services, Finance and Development.
Ensure the Statement of Work aligns with the customer?s goals to ensure customer satisfaction.
Participate in the creation of the vision for implementation project delivery and through Professional Services Managers ensure the effective development and delivery of projects.
Possess a unique and strong combination of business, sales and technical skills to contribute to a high level of engagement with customers, prospects, sales staff and product development staff.
Involved in presales activities related to services:
Provide input into the preparation of RFP responses
Contribute to the preparation of proposals
Scope and author SOWs
Deliver implementation approach overview and presentations regarding services
Work with the Sales team to develop and define the market selling propositions for services, key delivery messages, and competitive differentiators
Involved in proof-of-concept activities to assist Sales in closing deals
Conduct focus groups or scoping sessions to address some of the specific requirements
Work closely with solution engineers to assess unique customer needs related to services
Right-size the services offering based on customer needs
Engage with clients and prospects as needed throughout the sales process to facilitate the sale
Support project managers and provide technical guidance and coaching proactively as well as in response to situations arising at client sites.
Stay abreast of company products and enhancements as well as technology trends in the marketplace
Work with the implementation team to define scope of project implementation to ensure a smooth transition from presales to the implementation team
Manage and position services to existing customers for the purpose of selling add-on services
Meet with existing customers to understand challenges and requirements and incorporate them in a proposal and/or SOW
Successfully achieve the add-on services sales quota set by company management on an annual basis.
Background in relevant system implementations, delivery, and services
Demonstrate an understanding of complex enterprise software solutions
Proficiency in procurement industry and solutions preferred
Sound appreciation of the delivery phases of a project
Excellent presentation and verbal/written communication skills
Good project coordination skills:
Required to travel domestically and internationally up to 40%. Passport required for international travel.
