The unique and vibrant Key Ingredient community has posted over 1 million recipes onto keyingredient.com and gives the professional and amateur culinary community the ability to put and share their entire recipe collections in one secure, hosted location accessible anytime from anywhere.Key Ingredient is poised for growth and seeking an experienced leader to grow the business through the development and implementation of value-added technological solutions. Driven, independent, and passionate about start-up internet technology, you will:
--Establish and implement a robust and aggressive strategic business plan that recognizes and responds to market opportunities, leverages existing technologies, and accelerates innovation.
--Develop mutually beneficial relationships with customers and build a network of partners to explore, develop, and commercialize new ideas and ventures that will allow you to deploy the strategy, create new revenue streams, and deliver aggressive sales and profitability growth targets.
--Leverage a passion for technology and start-up management experience to lead the growing Key Ingredient team, recommend and implement an efficient strategy that will aggressively build and strongly engage a large community of food lovers, and focus on building a profitable business plan to consolidate the value of the company.
In this highly visible position, you will need to:
--Have high energy with strong technical know-how, leadership and management experience, the ability to anticipate and address the demands of Key Ingredient's customers, and a desire to proactively hunt for new partners and revenue streams to effectively drive the business forward.
--Be capable of working autonomously to run the operation, build the business, and inspire the Austin, TX based team.
--Successfully partner with a global majority stakeholder.
The right individual will:
--Have 10 years of technical entrepreneurial experience developing innovative digital solutions and leading a business related to the Internet, social media, community management, and/or digital marketing
--Be capable of analyzing needs to recommend and implement a new strategy and have the high energy and passion needed to drive successful business through innovation
--Have proven experience leading small teams and building an engaged organization of professionals
--Have a passion for food and cooking and preferably be well networked in this industry
--Be willing to travel internationally 4+ times a year and nationally as needed to build the business
--Be based in (or willing to relocate to) Austin, TX with the rest of the Key Ingredient team
--A university degree is a plus
