President, Graduate Programs 2U, Inc.
Role & Responsibilities: The President, Graduate Programs will provide executive leadership and direction to ensure the success of the graduate division of 2U, Inc. The desired candidate must have an entrepreneurial approach to building and sustaining effective partnerships and business operations in a matrix enviornment.
Manage team of General Managers and University partner relationships.
Oversee implementation of strategic plan including marketing/sales, support services, and content development.
Create consistent practices and approach across all our partners and programs.
Develop and implement professional development program for General Managers.
Advise CEO, CMO, COO and CFO on cross program issues and initiatives.
In partnership with Finance develop proformas, P&L models and forecasting for new programs.
Ultimate responsibility for P&L of 2U operations related to the graduate programs. Measure performance of company goals and establish targets for improvement.
Work with marketing and curriculum team to drive product definitions in each vertical.
Education and Professional Experience:
Bachelor?s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
Minimum of 10+ years of experience managing external clients/partners and leading large scale internal operations.

Record of success in building and sustaining effective partnerships with executive level professionals (Dean or Provost in collegiate environment).
Demonstrated ability to lead people and get results through others. Proven success in a matrix management environment.

Enthusiasm and the ability to thrive in an atmosphere of constant change.
Ability to work and contribute in a team environment.
