Entrepreneurial spirit, sales and marketing mind, business development savvy, and ability to multi-task required. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, have strong analytic skills and a sixth sense for finding the next big thing. The new President will propose a 12 month strategic growth plan best suited to achieve company goals. President will also be responsible for leveraging internal resources to successfully execute on the Plan. Operational duties include raising awareness of Urban Interns with business owners and job seekers, growing new revenue streams, overseeing product maintenance, financial reporting, and customer service initiatives.
The President will report to the Board of Directors.
Desired Skills & Experience
College grad.
Entrepreneurial spirit and operational experience running/working at a startup venture.
Strong sales, business development skills.
Strong network in entrepreneurial community.
Proven experience as a self-starter.
Quantitative skills - familiarity with forecasting, budgeting, managing P&L.
Does not have to be NYC based, though quarterly travel to NYC is required.
