Position Overview We are looking for a Pricing Application Consultant to join a Global Solutions Delivery project team to lead the requirements gathering workshops at new customer locations. This individual will play a critical role in ensuring that the documented business requirements will meet customer needs and will deliver significant value to the customer's organization. Key Responsibilities:
Lead business/functional requirements workshops
Demonstrate and share best pricing practices with the customer
Analyze and map client requirements based on Vendavo capability
Demonstrate Vendavo software in the context of client requirements and value proposition
Work with Pricing Application Analyst to produce high quality requirements documentation as per Vendavo methodology
Facilitate completion of requirements documentation employing requirements tools and templates
Identify/suggest improvements to requirements tools, templates and processes
Leverage and contribute to corporate knowledge assets
Develop product and domain knowledge expertise
Skills Required:
Requires a Bachelor of Science degree in business or a technical discipline
Five - seven years experience in job offered/similar role in pricing, applications or analytics or in software professional services/consulting
Required work experience must be with or providing services/consulting to companies in one or more of the following industry groups: industrial, automotive, consumer packaged goods, chemical or high tech
Work experience must include pricing, marketing, finance or related domain areas
Work experience with Enterprise software products such as SAP, Oracle, Siebel, etc. is a plus
Work experience in a functional lead or senior role on a project team is desired
Work experience must include presentations to groups of manager- or executive-level attendees
Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
