Principal Consulting Solution Architect
The Solution Architect is responsible for conducting Discovery workshops in a pre-sales capacity, defining integrations, compiling all requirements into a BRD and designing the end-2-end ?to-be? state of the Renew OnDemand application. In additional the Solution Architect is responsible for defining the blueprint for the Renew solution for strategic accounts including complex data mapping, integration specifications and configuration documentation.
Conduct Discovery Sessions with the ServiceSource customers in order to scope the size of the implementation activities
Develop the architectural artifacts during the analysis, design and development phases of strategic projects
Ability to engage in executive and senior-level technology discussions including deep and complex integrations to CRM and ERP applications
Apply strong data design skills to transform raw data into relational data structures
Document and analyze existing processes, tools and reports to do like-for-like comparisons between current and future states
Develop gap analyses, configuration guides and functional/technical specifications for the configuration of the ServiceSource Renew platform
Develop high level process maps
Conduct Conference Room Pilots with internal and client teams
Partner with Product Management as necessary to close gaps between customer requirements and available functionality.
Ensure effective communication and coordination on assigned projects between all disciplines and parties
Bachelor?s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Science or related field
10+ years experience in data management, technical consulting or solution architecture in IT industry
5+ years in a Technical Consultant, working with external customers on transformational technology projects
Demonstrated ability to understand relational data structures and design the path from raw data to a database and finally to outputs like reporting
Integration background using Webservices and ETL tools
Ability to write specifications with precision and thoroughness that are easily and unambiguously understood by the configuration and development teams
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills including the ability to transfer knowledge through effective communication, both face to face and virtual
Proficiency in MS Office Suite; Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills required
Strong problem solving and analytical skills
Proven track record of meeting commitments with the highest standards of quality and integrity

Participate in the pre-sales process to understand customer business, technical objectives, and product requirements
Design solutions to meet the business/technical objectives
Work with delivery team to map design into a product/services roadmap to help the customer to solve their objective
Effectively communicate solutions architecture to the customer, third parties and the project teams
Ensure that proposals are technically sound, deliverable, competitive and representative of market leadership in the application of technology to addressing business issues
Support sales efforts with delivery management and practice management teams
Author blogs, technical articles or white paper based on experiences
Obtain continuous feedback from the field, including customers, bringing requirements back to corporate teams and making recommendations on future product enhancements
