Principal Designer, Global Creative Services

JOB SUMMARY:
This is a corporate, in-house, creative team position that reports to the Senior Design Manager, Global Creative Services. As a Global Creative Services Principal Designer, you'd be creating concepts, designs, layouts, and executing production for internal global marketing clients, company executives, global events team, and others. Creative projects include print, web, collateral, email, multimedia, and exhibition display design/layout supportâ€"all within the Infor brand standards. You'd work in close collaboration with virtual and local team on all phases of development and execution, including development and maintenance of global on-line style guidelines. The position requires your continuous development and growth while providing design strategies that reinforce brand identity and maintain corporate messaging.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Concept development, design, layout, production

• Work closely with field marketing on project requirements and goals for global product and industry campaigns, providing creative solutions that enhance corporate brand and streamline global execution.
• Create clean, bullet-proofed templates for global use for online or print marketing assets.
• Build concepts, create assets, and/or provide creative direction as needed for corporate projects in line with Corporate Senior Art Director standards and approval.
• Develop icons, illustrations, source and stylize imagery that promote and grow brand libraries.
• Establish and foster internal client and colleague relationships by providing a consistent, trusted source who collaborates, assumes ownership, and delivers superior work, no matter what.
• Instruct third party organizations or team members in new brand standards, techniques or tools.
• Help determine brand parameters and negotiate solutions for non-compliance.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

§ Strong portfolio demonstrating exceptional print, on-line, and multimedia work with and an eye for bold, clean design.

§ 4+ years experience in Senior Designer role or similar.

§ Preferred BS degree in creative field.

preferred skills & KNOWLEDGE:

§ Proven ability to work quickly and effectively under pressure. Able to meet tight deadlines with a willingness to work independently or collaborate with a team. Flexible.

§ Strong written and verbal communication skills; must interface with clients and internal teams through online meetings, email and phone conversations as primary communication tools.

§ Expert user of graphics software tools; illustration master with a keen skill in entire Adobe suite.

§ Deft experience and knowledge in MS Office productsâ€"converting typical word-based tools to corporate-branded, graphic templates.

§ HTML knowledge (preferred).

§ A great attitude with an emphasis on excellence, integrity, team cohesion, and ownership.
