Summary:
Design and develop software for SafeNet?s Key Management server, KeySecure/DataSecure.
Qualification Requirements:
Education: Bachelors in Computer Science or equivalent.
Experience: 7+ years of software design and development.
Skills:
Object-oriented programming and design patterns with a language like C++ or Java.
Scalable, server development with multi-threaded / multi-process systems, messaging, and databases.
Development lifecycle with requirement analysis, design, development, unit test development.
SQL and database interaction (database design a plus)
Web services, XML processing.
Excellent verbal and writing skills.
Desirable Qualification Requirements:
Security, Cryptography and PKI infrastructure.
Cloud technologies (like AWS) and Virtualization (like VMWare)
Appliance development
Essential Duties & Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
Socialize designs with team and integrate suggestions and changes as appropriate
Work with implementation teams to derive and document appropriate designs for the problem space
Implement code in a timely fashion and with high quality, consistent with standards for the group
Unit test software components to ensure module-level functionality and data structure consistency.
Participates in design and implementation/code reviews of other team members
Resolves issues found during engineering test and QA in a timely manner, taking risk into account
Independently manages time and prioritizes tasks to achieve results within cost and schedule constraints
Consistent use of development tools for tracking of defects and management of code
Remains abreast of current technological progress to ensure company's products remain marketable and competitive
