Principal Embedded Software Engineer Cerona Networks
JOB DESCRIPTION:Cerona Networks is a cutting-edge manufacturer and integrator of satellite-based solutions. Our patented technologies are on the forefront of broadband multimedia content delivery, and two-way satellite Internet access.
In this position, the right candidate will develop and apply advanced methods to the design and development of software products/systems using principles and techniques of computer science, engineering and mathematical analyses, with minimum supervision.
Requirements:
Candidate should have a minimum of 5 years experience in embedded software development including hands-on experience with the following:
BSEE/MSEE,
Working with embedded hardware including device drivers and firmware development and hardware bring up,
C, C, problem solving debugging skills in an RTOS (eg. VxWorks) and/or embedded Linux environment,
Linux System Administration and network programming and protocols experience required,
Must have the ability to architect complex designs and clearly articulate such designs on paper,
Capable of working independently or with a small team, as required.
