Principal Firmware Engineer Jawbone

Lead the specification, architecture, design and development of embedded firmware for Jawbone?s wearable mobile lifestyle products.Core Responsibilities:
Architect the embedded firmware
Drive integration of internal and external technologies into the system
Make key technical decisions and lead design reviews
Provide technical leadership throughout the complete product development cycle
Develop criteria to qualify new technologies and algorithms for inclusion in product development
Debug and help resolve performance and functionality issues in the complete system
Manage and/or coordinate with a diverse set of cross-site technical contributors, including internal teams, sub-contractors and vendors to successfully transition the system into high volume manufacturing
Requirements:
8+ years of ?hands-on? experience in developing firmware for complex, power and cost-optimized consumer electronics systems consisting of digital, analog, RF, firmware and software components ? at least two systems that went to volume production
Expert at board bring-ups, BSP development and driver development
Expert at mapping algorithms into efficient implementations optimizing memory, processing and power requirements
Experience with Android OS and iOS preferred
Must be a team player and possess excellent oral and written skills
Must have demonstrated project leadership skills
Bachelor?s or Master?s degree in CE,EE,CS or related discipline
